Add an authenticator app
- Select MFA in the menu and confirm it's you.
- Select Add authenticator app.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy. Can't scan? Type the key under Can't scan? Enter this key instead.
- Enter the 6-digit code the app shows and select Turn on. Do this within 15 minutes.
- Save your recovery codes, then select I've saved them.
From now on, sign-in asks for a code after your password.
That code did not match
The code changes every 30 seconds. Check your phone sets its clock automatically, then enter the code shown now.
Add a second method
A second app or a passkey means one lost phone doesn't lock you out. You can have up to 5 authenticator apps and 10 passkeys.
Turn MFA off
Select Remove next to each method. Removing the last one turns MFA off and deletes your recovery codes.
